Terms and Conditions

Quotefish terms and conditions, put simply.

By completing the user registration process, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. The Quotefish website is owned and operated by Quotefish Limited (524560). A business registered in Ireland.
If you decide to use Quotefish, you therefore agree to our rules and conditions, even if we need to change them every now and then. If for some reason, you don’t like the rules and conditions, your only option is to stop using Quotefish.
We can’t guarantee that everything on Quotefish is always correct, so always do your own checks. We are only the ‘introduction agency’ for consumers and local businesses, so it’s up to you to make sure you’re completely happy with who you’re doing business with, as we can’t be held responsible if something goes wrong. We’ll do our best to keep the website secure and up and running, but we can’t guarantee it. We do promise to fix anything as soon as we possibly can and take measures to make sure it won’t happen again. If your computer crashes, your internet goes down, you spill your drink on your computer or anything unlucky happens to you while using Quotefish, it is not our fault. Do your own research, make your own enquiries and make sensible choices while using Quotefish, and everything should be fine.
If we run a competition, we may have to change the rules for some reason, but if we do, we’ll let you know.
Part of your agreement when using Quotefish is to be truthful, so please do be. We won’t share your personal info with anyone outside Quotefish without your consent.
Don’t share your password with anyone, ever. If someone does get it somehow and uses it, let us know straight away. Only one person or business is allowed per account please, and if we catch you using some computer tom-foolery (like scripts or robots) to do things automatically on Quotefish, you’ll be in big trouble!
If you get an email from Quotefish asking for any financial details, it’s a scam.
Don’t copy anything off Quotefish. Healthy competition is good, but rip-offs are not.
The Quotefish and Quotefish logos are a registered trademark of Quotefish. Other trademarks may be displayed on Quotefish from time to time. These may belong to third parties. Nothing displayed on Quotefish should be construed as granting any license or right of use of any logo or trademark displayed on a website, without the express written permission of the relevant owner.
While using Quotefish, obey the laws in your country, don’t be offensive (you’ll be banned), don’t ask for or give your details anywhere – that’s our job, don’t spam and don’t collect contact details for your own use outside of Quotefish. If we become aware of anything suspicious, we’ll be watching you, and if we have to, we’ll tell the police.
Again, anything that may go wrong through the choices you make when using Quotefish are not our fault and we can’t be blamed.
It’s up to you to pay tax on any income you derive through Quotefish. When you pay for a Quotefish membership, tax is included in the transaction.
Businesses and consumers may link to external websites on Quotefish. We can’t control what they contain, nor be held responsible if you don’t like what you see. Also, we’re not responsible for anything that happens through contact outside of Quotefish (nor within Quotefish, for that matter).
It’s not our fault if anything goes wrong because you used Quotefish. But, if somehow you do manage to sue us, the maximum we can be held accountable for is the amount you paid for your membership.
The Conditions of Use and all other specific and additional terms which govern your use or membership of and access to Quotefish will be governed by the laws of the country you are resident in.
If we ban you, we’ll also ban your i.p. address. Banning is a serious offence, and if we find you’ve rejoined through claiming to be someone else or with another email address, you’ll be banned again.
To make Quotefish the best we can, we’ll occasionally update or change something for the better. We expect you’ll be cool with that.
We help you make decisions when using Quotefish, but ultimately, the responsibility is all yours when doing business through Quotefish.
We send emails out every now and then, and if you want us to stop, just let us know.
You agree to grant us the right to use anything you type into Quotefish or upload to Quotefish, even if it is copyrighted. Otherwise, we couldn’t display it on Quotefish. On the other hand we’re not responsible if you type or upload something that is not yours.
If you break any of these rules, we can ban you instantly without telling you first.
Obey the laws in your country when using Quotefish.
Neither Quotefish or anyone employed by or associated with Quotefish can be held responsible if something bad happens.
We’re just mates, not boyfriend and girlfriend, and all we’re trying to do is help make your life easier and your business successful.
If you have a problem with our Conditions of Use, we might hire an outside company to resolve it, and you’ll probably have to pay.
We need to store your personal information, but we won’t sell or share it and we use cookies to know if you’ve visited before.
